2012 was a big year for us, we celebrated our 6-year anniversary, toasted Drop the Limeʼs new album, and released 20 records that shot up the electronic and dance charts. As a final coda to this crazy apocalyptic year, we released CLASH OF THE DAMNED VOL.1, a compilation full of topnotch international collaborations.
Further putting a stamp on the “heavy bass” genre, CLASH OF THE DAMNED is a riveting selection of 12 tracks spanning the gamut between house, dubstep, club music and rap — often all within the same tune. Artists from London, Portugal, Estonia, Finland and across the United States prove that dance music doesnʼt have to be predictable… all with the dark and cinematic flair that is T&Bʼs signature. Bert On Beats - Modern Vampires EP Out Now
We continue to heat up the winter with more bloody good club music, this time from Estonian killer Bert on Beats. Cooler than an icy wind blowing across the Baltic Sea, Bert delivers three big dance floor cuts in a classic T&B heavy bass style. Raised on turntablism and drum & bass, Bert got turned on to the “global bass” sound in the 2000s and soon his tracks began appearing in sets from Sinden, Toddla T, Brodinski, and Feadz. You may have heard his massive tracks on Man Recordings and Enchufada—he takes heavy influences from kuduro and baile and whips those together with a European big-room electro flair.
