Plastician Interviews: Jammer
Here's the second installment of Plastician's Interviews for Rinse.FM's Youtube channel. We're especially feelin this one, since these two characters came over to NYC together around 2006 to play Drop The Lime & Star Eyes (Syrup Girls) release party for their 'Shotgun Wedding' mixtape, at the defunct venue Rothko in LES. Found this the night Jubilee and I stayed up ’til 5 a.m. watching grime vids on YouTube. After watching a bunch of really disappointing F64s with over-hyped dude MCs, we arrived at this… Instant Reload!!! Quadruple threat status: Lady Chann with the sickest ragga chat, NoLay talking bare sense, Lioness getting all Sacajawea on that mic, and Leshurr by far my favorite: rapping faster than Twista with a baby panther style. So tuff! And if you like to watch British people rap as much as I do, then you can also check this Lord of the Mics freestyle with Wiley and Kano and this Just Jam with D Double E & Jammer.
