PLASTICIAN - RETRO
Next week we'll be releasing a special T&B VIP Compilation containing 7 tunes. So up until the day of the release we'll be streaming the tunes on our blog and shedding a little light on the story behind each tune, kinda like 'Behind the Music'. Just a little anecdote from each producer!
This is what Plastician had to say about 'Retro':
"I'm glad to see this track finally see light of day, I actually made the track originally about 4 years ago, and left it unfinished until 2011. I was playing it out as a looped up 2 minute long track for years! I wanted to create an old school sound with old school techniques. The entire track is made up of one shot samples. Not a single virtual or hardware synth was used to make it, just pure automation on the drum map, with only a little bit of after effects like reverb and delay. What I ended up with was something between 2004 grime and 1994 rave. Splendid
AC SLATER - TAKE YOU (DOORLY REMIX)
Next week we'll be releasing a special T&B VIP Compilation containing 7 tunes. So up until the day of the release we'll be streaming the tunes on our blog and shedding a little light on the story behind each tune, kinda like 'Behind the Music'. Just a little anecdote from each producer!
Check out what Doorly had to say about his Remix of AC Slater's "Take You"
"I heard the track when AC played it at a gig I was on the same bill as him in miami I think and when I got the promo I absolutely loved the old school feel of it but saw going 96 UK Jungle! So I Emailed him and asked if I could have the parts so I could make my own version for my sets. I did it, sent it back to him and i've pretty much played it in every set ever since, it took about 3 hours to make as it does with a track you're really into and already have a vision for and the rest is history! big up T&B, keep them coming!"
DEATHFACE - THE HORROR VIP
Next week we'll be releasing a special T&B VIP Compilation containing 7 tunes. So up until the day f the release we'll be streaming the tunes on our blog and shedding a little light on the story behind each tune, kinda like 'Behind the Music'. Just a little anecdote from each producer, if they have one!
Check out what Deathface had to say about his tune (what a jerk)
"When i was in high school in Chicago I remember every winter it would get so fucking cold that the wind would slap you in the face and force tears out, which would then freeze on your cheeks, that was fucking miserable. That's why i made this VIP"
Drop The Lime - Devils Eyes (Tomb Crew VIP)

First up is Tomb Crew's VIP of their Devils Eyes Remix!as told from Jamie of Tomb Crew: "I made the VIP for no other reason than to see the look on Nick and Illa's face. The original had been going down so well in every set (I don't think there was a time where it didn't get a wheel) that I thought it would be cool to surprise everyone.
We played it first at an Urban Nerds warehouse party and Illa was expecting it to drop normally and then when he realizes it's different he turns round and goes mad. I think that night the tune got wheeled about five times and on the third time the power went, so I'll always remember that moment! It went down so well that I don't think we ever played the original again after that moment!"
